The invention relates to methods for recording and reading information hidden against a visualisation and can be used for visualising hidden images (marks) which identify an object and protect it against non authorised reproduction (falsification). The inventive method for producing and visualising an optically invisible mark consists in the following: an optically invisible image of the mark is formed on the surface of a studied object by modifying at least one area of said surface. Said image is then visualised. The surface of the studied object (carrying the image) is pre-treated in such a way that it is mirrored prior to forming the optically invisible image of the mark. The modification is accompanied by modifying surface energy of modified areas. The visualisation of the optically invisible image of the mark is performed by creating a metastable medium in the zone of said surface. Using said metastable medium, an optically perceived invisible image of the mark is embodied in the form of the difference of structures formed by particles of the stable phase of the metastable medium on the areas of the surface (of the studied object) having different surface energy. Various variants of the use of metastable mediums and methods for forming the optically invisible image of the mark on the surface of the studied object are also disclosed.
L'invention se rapporte aux procédés de lecture et d'écriture des informations invisible à l'oeil et peut s'utiliser pour visualiser des images (marques) cachées destinées à identifier un objet, lesdites marques assurant la protection de l'objet contre la reproduction non autorisée (la contrefaçon). Le procédé de formation et de visualisation de la marque optique invisible consiste en ce qui suit: on forme à la surface de l'objet d'intérêt une image optiquement invisible de la marque en modifiant au moins une partie de cette surface, après quoi on visualise l'image en question. Avant de former l'image optiquement invisible de la marque, la surface de l'objet d'intérêt comportant cette image est préalablement polie jusqu'à ce qu'elle atteigne l'état d'un miroir. On effectue la modification en changeant l'énergie de surface des parties à modifier. La visualisation de l'image optiquement invisible se fait par la création dans la zone de la surface susmentionnée de l'objet d'intérêt d'un milieu métastable au moyen de laquelle l'image visuellement perceptible de la marque optiquement invisible se présente comme une différence de structures formée par les particules de la phase stable du milieu métastable, dans des parties de surface (de l'objet d'intérêt) avec des énergies de surface différentes. On prévoit diverses variantes en ce qui concerne l'utilisation des milieux métastables et les procédés de formation à la surface de l'objet d'intérêt de l'image optiquement invisible de la marque.
