The invention relates to a device for monitoring a gas volume in a unit filled with a liquid, whereby the unit comprises an inlet line with at least one expansion chamber and the device comprises a buoyant body, floating in the liquid. The floating buoyant body is connected to a shaft, fixed in the expansion chamber and mounted to rotate relative to the shaft. The gas volume above the liquid may be recorded rapidly and with high accuracy, by measuring the torque generated by the buoyant body, or an angle to the horizontal. The invention further relates to a method for monitoring a gas volume in a unit filled with liquid, by means of a floating buoyant body.
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour surveiller un volume de gaz dans une installation remplie d'un liquide, laquelle installation présente un conduit d'arrivée pourvu d'au moins un conservateur et lequel dispositif est composé d'un corps flottant dans le liquide. Ce corps flottant est relié à un arbre, fixé dans le conservateur, et monté de façon à pouvoir tourner par rapport cet arbre. La mesure du couple de rotation produit par le corps flottant ou de l'angle par rapport à l'horizontale permet de détecter rapidement et avec une grande précision le volume de gaz situé au-dessus du liquide. Cette invention concerne également un procédé pour surveiller un volume de gaz dans une installation remplie de liquide au moyen d'un corps flottant.
