An absorbent layer containing water-absorbing polymeric particles that are surface-treated and that are immobi-lized by a matrix, formed from a thermoplastic adhesive component, including a thermoplastic polymers and a specific plasticizer, and being free of low weight average molecular weight (e.g. below 1000, or below 2000 or even below 3000 g/mole) tackifiers and plasticizers. The absorbent articles may for example be adult incontinence articles, infant (e.g. baby, toddler) diapers, includ-ing training pants, and feminine hygiene articles, such as sanitary napkins.
L'invention concerne une couche absorbante contenant des particules polymères absorbant l'eau qui présentent un traitement de surface et qui sont immobilisées par une matrice. Cette couche est formée à partir d'un composant adhésif thermoplastique comprenant des polymères thermoplastiques et un plastifiant spécifique, et est exempte d'agents poisseux et de plastifiants de faible masse moléculaire moyenne en poids (par exemple inférieure à 1000, à 2000, ou même à 3000 g/mole).
