There are many established ways to place objects in a frame for display . In general they are customized to suit a specific object and they are intended to retain and display that object permanently. This invention provides a system which can be sized to suit a type or group of similar objects and is intended to allow an object to be attractively displayed and easily removed. It has three key components: ~ A thin matt with an opening smaller than the smallest object in a class. . ~ A thick matt with an opening larger than the largest object in a class. ~ A resilient foam sheet which retains the object and the matts. The application of the system is to provide an insert to suit an object which would be attractive if displayed in a frame and permit the object to be readily removed or replaced. A vinyl record in a sleeve could be displayed, removed to be played and then replaced; a document or publication could be displayed, removed for reference, and replaced with another.
