An air flow apparatus for providing a continuous curtain of air or other fluid includes a body member defining a first elongate plenum chamber, at least one inlet opening through which the first plenum chamber receives compressed air and an outlet opening for discharging air from the body member. The apparatus may also include a second plenum chamber (which communicates with the outlet opening) and at least one passageway connecting the first and second plenum chambers. The body member discharges the air without deflecting it towards one of its outer surfaces.

Cette invention concerne un appareil de distribution de flux continu d'air ou autre fluide, constitué d'un caisson définissant une première chambre de répartition en long, au moins un orifice d'admission par lequel de l'air sous pression est admis dans ladite première chambre de répartition, et un orifice d'évacuation par lequel l'air sort du caisson. L'appareil peut comporter une deuxième chambre de répartition. Dans ce cas, cette deuxième chambre est reliée à la première par au moins un passage d'air et communique avec l'orifice d'évacuation. Le caisson distribue l'air sans le dévier vers l'une ou l'autre de ses faces externes.
