Apparatus for bank note validation and storage to be used mainly in automatic machines dispensing products as well as game and prize recreational machines, having the apparatus (1) a bank note validation head (2) and a storage element (3) for bank notes validated as valid. The head (2) is defined by the hinged joint with two bodies (4, 5) attached according to a "L" shaped surface, with the head (2) incorporating a number of devices for validating bank notes, whilst the element (3) for bank note storage has a provisional housing (34), defined as a prolongation of the head's channel (6) and a final storage compartment (37).
