ABSTRACT A novel compound of 4-[N-(substituted-benzylidene)amino-methyl] cyclohexane-1-carboxylic acid or a salt or an ester thereof which has specific pharmacologic activities, a method for preparing thereof and a pharmaceutical composition comprising thereof as an active ingredient are provided. The compound of the present invention shows an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation and/or polynuclear leukocyte migration, and a low acute toxicity. Accordingly, the compound of the present invention is useful as a remedy for various diseases, such as inflammation, thrombosis, encephalorrhagia, hypertension, asthma or cancer, etc., especially for chronic diseases such as rheumatism or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), etc.
