PROCEDE ET DISPOSITIF DE COULEE CONTINUE DIRECTE DE PRODUITS METALLIQUES MINCES Abrégé Descriptif La présente invention concerne un procédé de coulée continue de produits métalliques de faible épaisseur, notamment en acier, par solidification du métal liquide contre au moins un cylindre refroidi en rotation, caractérisé en ce que, lors de la solidification du métal, on forme sur au moins une face du produit une ligne de moindre résistance mécanique parallèle aux rives. L'installation pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé est caractérisée en ce que l'un au moins des cylindres présente sur sa circonférence une discontinuité superficielle, telle qu'une rainure ou une zone en relief. L'invention a pour but de faciliter le chutage des rives du produit coulé, ou son refendage.
