PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention concerne des granulés poreux et solides de biopolymère de polysaccharide, lesdits granulés pouvant s'écouler librement et ne formant pas de poussières, caractérisés en ce qu'ils comprennent en outre soit un agent mouillant, soit un agent dispersant, soit un agent mouillant et un agent dispersant. Ces granulés peuvent être obtenus par la mise en oeuvre d'un procédé selon lequel la poudre de biopolymère est mise en lit fluidisé à l'aide d'un courant gazeux, un fluide aqueux est pulvérise sur la poudre pour agglomérer les particules, au moins un agent mouillant et/ou dispersant étant introduit soit en mélange avec la poudre de biopolymère, soit dans le fluide aqueux de pulvérisation, et les granulés obtenus sont séchés simultanément ou subséquemment. Les granulés selon l'invention sont utiles dans toutes les industries requérant des fluides aqueux viscosifiés.
