A neutral lug assembly (14) for coupling neutral wire conductors to a neutral plate (16) in the pan- elboard (10) is provided, the neu- tral lug assembly includes a gener- ally U-shaped bracket (32) adapted to be electrically coupled to the pan- elboard neutral plate and having first and second stair-step shaped side portions (34). A cross strap (30) having a first end (38) secured to the first side portion, a second end (40) secured to the second side por- tion and a middle portion (42). A securing means (46) is provided for securing the first and second ends of the cross strap to the first and second side portions of the bracket, wherein the securing means electrically cou- ples the cross strap to the first and second side portions. A connector (31) is coupled to the middle por- tion of the cross strap for coupling at least one neutral wire conductor to the bracket.
L'invention concerne un ensemble cosse neutre (14) destiné à accoupler des conducteurs neutres à une plaque neutre (16) dans un tableau de distribution (10). L'ensemble cosse neutre comprend un support (32) généralement en U, conçu pour être accouplé électriquement à la plaque neutre du tableau de distribution et présentant une première et seconde parties latérales (34) en forme de gradins. Une barrette transversale (30) présente une première extrémité (38) fixée à la première partie latérale, une seconde extrémité (40) fixée à la seconde partie latérale et une partie centrale (42). Un dispositif de fixation (46) permet de fixer la première et la seconde extrémité de la barrette transversale à la première et à la seconde parties latérales du support, ledit dispositif de fixation accouplant électriquement la barrette transversale à la première et à la seconde parties latérales. Un connecteur (31) est accouplé à la partie centrale de la barrette transversale afin d'accoupler au moins un conducteur neutre au support.
