Disclosed herein is a bath tub (10) having a deep basin (12) without an internal overflow. Instead, an overflow trough (14) encircles the basin and collects water falling over a rim of the basin. A pump (64) directs water within the overflow trough through a conduit back into the basin, so as to continuously maintain water flowing over the rim of the basin. Micro- effervescence and a chromatherapy system can also be provided with such a tub.

L'invention concerne une baignoire (10) comprenant une cuve profonde (12) dépourvue de trop-plein interne. A la place de ce trop-plein, une rigole de déversement (14) entoure la cuve et récupère l'eau qui s'écoule depuis les bords de la cuve. Une pompe (64) achemine l'eau de la rigole de déversement à travers un conduit, vers la cuve, de façon à maintenir un écoulement constant de l'eau par-dessus les bords de la cuve. Un système de micro-effervescence et de chromothérapie peut également être utilisé avec cette baignoire.
