A part-forming machine (10) having an in-mold integrated vision system and method therefor for verifying the presence, absence and quality of molded parts therein. The image of the mold and/or part is acquired at a substantially parallel angle relative to the image-capturing source (310) thereby allowing the imaging of the mold while the mold is opening thus increasing the resolution, speed and accuracy of part-forming machine imaging systems.

L'invention se rapporte à une machine (10) pour le formage de pièces pourvue d'un système de vision intégré dans le moule et au procédé qui lui est associé, ledit système permettant de vérifier la présence, l'absence et la qualité de pièces moulées dans la machine. L'image du moule et/ou de la pièce est obtenue selon un angle sensiblement constant par rapport à la source (310) de capture d'images, permettant ainsi d'obtenir une imagerie du moule pendant l'ouverture du moule, et augmentant de ce fait la résolution, la vitesse et la précision des systèmes d'imagerie de la machine pour le formage de pièces.
