A micromachine including at least one bladeless rotor (10), said rotor being adapted to impart energy to device energy to or derive energy from a fluid. A rotor for a micromachine comprising at least a pair of closely spaced co- axially aligned discs (16, 17) defining opposed planar surfaces, at least one disc having at least one aperture (21, 22) whereby a fluid passageway is defined between the aperture, the planar surfaces and the periphery of the rotor, the rotor being formed of a single crystal material.

L'invention concerne une micromachine comprenant au moins un rotor (10) sans aube conçu pour communiquer de l'énergie à un fluide ou à dériver ladite énergie dudit fluide. Un rotor pour une machine comporte au moins une paire de disques alignés coaxialement, étroitement séparés (16, 17) qui définissent des surfaces planes opposées, et au moins un disque présentant au moins une ouverture (21, 22). Une voie de passage pour fluide est définie entre l'ouverture, les surfaces planes et la périphérie du rotor, ledit rotor étant constitué d'une matière unique en cristal.
